I reserve the right to raise or lower prices at any time.  With this industry understand that prices on game consoles and video games can vary week to week or even day by day.  I am up to date on my prices but I am happy to check to see if I can do a little better from time to time.  However;  just note that if you are trying to offer less for an item and I check and find out it has went up in price, I may keep the item back and raise the price before putting it back on my shelf.  So there is risk involved in asking me to check current prices.

How do I determine prices?

     For items that are under $100 www.pricecharting.com is a good reference point.  They give an average of what the item has sold for over the last 6 months.  However;  they are not always accurate when dealing with higher end titles or consoles.  That website is not taking into consideration the fact of condition or partially working conditions.  In such event I use eBay and sort lowest with shipping first and Buy it Now.  Which shows me the lowest prices that are currently available to purchase in the like condition.  Generally I am at 50% of what I will sell it for to purchase.

I do not purchase common sports games for older platforms.  They are unwanted and hard to sell.  Also, I have many and don't need them.

Rules for Buying/Selling items to my business

1. All negotiations are final.  Once you make a deal with me you do not get to change your mind later and get your items back.  

2. When I make an offer to buy the offer will stand until the end of that business day.  The next day the offer could change.

3. You must own the items you bring in to sell.  If they belong to your buddy or someone else other than you I cannot buy any of it.

4. You must be 18 years of age or older to sell items to my store.  If you are under 18 a parent or gaurdian must be present in order to sell items to me.

5. I may require a valid I.D. to be shown at time of transaction if you are selling items to my store.

6. I am not a pawn shop.  That is a different set of rules determined by the state of OHIO.  I do not have the license to hold your items for a later time.  Once you sell the item to me it belongs to my company.

7. My store closes at 5pm.  I have lots to pack and shut down for the night.  So if you show up at 10 mins to close with arm fulls of stuff be prepared to carry it back out unless you know what you want and we can make a quick transaction.

8. Matt's Vintage Video Games is a soul proprietorship.  I buy sell and trade in accordance with state and local laws.
