Telling the Market Story

The market has been around since 1984.  There are so many stories that could be shared.  I think some customers will show interest in the History of the establishment

     The Traders World Newspaper (given out at the parking gate) was a great idea for the market and has been a standard for the market for many years.  I do not wish to change that or do away with it.  However;  I propose a better idea for 2025.  Most people take a newspaper when coming in the gate to park.  For the most part customers give it a quick glance and discard it, while others may hold onto it or give it a deeper look – which is great.  But what if there was a better option.  Something more up to date.  Something cheaper for you as a vendor to advertise in.  Also, something that dives deeper into the history of the marketplace and showcases the history of the market itself.

     What I purpose is a full page, full color advertisement for $100.  For that money I will personally work up an ad for you.  Once it’s worked up I will get it to you for proofing and approval.  If your happy with it then you pay me only when we are ready to print.  The money does not make me profit.  It does not make the house profit.  The money paid for the ad is only used to cover the cost of the printing.  The more money I can collect and the more vendors I can get on board, the more magazines we can print. 

     WHAT I WILL NEED FROM YOU:  A Picture of you (your bust, or face and neck to shoulder area) or your logo (.png or .jpg file) if you do not want a picture of your face included, a logo image (.png or jpg file), Photos of your inventory that you want to showcase on the ad.  Any words or phrases that you want included in detail.  Or a file of the advertisement as you want it to look, Meaning if you want to design it just give me a file of it so that I can implement it as you want it.  Also, you will need to include 1 single coupon.  I will design it.  Just tell me what you want the coupon to be.  For instance:  buy 2 items get the third one FREE, or Spend $50 get 10% off your order.  This is up to you, you tell me what works for your business.

     HERE IS HOW YOU MAKE MONEY ON IT:  You pay me only $100 for a full color one page advertisement.  Let us estimate that I get 20 vendors interested.  That brings in $2000 for advertising.  With that amount I can get possibly 1000 magazines printed.  1000 copies divided by 20 is 50 copies for each vendor who advertises.   Each of those 50 copies is sold by you in your store on your counter or anywhere you wish to sell them.  50 copies at $5 each brings you in a total of $250 for your $100 investment.  Its easy to sell because you simply say or have a sign that says:  $50 WORTH OF COUPONS INSIDE.  Imagine that we collectively sell through the thousand magazines within a reasonable amount of time.  That is 1000 people who will possibly return at least one more time to use those coupons.  Or will at least hold onto the magazine and possibly share with someone else who may use the coupon.

     The reason it is a positive thing I probably don’t have to tell you.  Repeat business is always the driving force for any of us as vendors.  We need to do more to get other customers besides regulars or locals to repeat the trip to us more than just once or twice per year.  If we offered incentives to shop more often, like giving a coupon, then the likelihood of a more frequent return of that customer base increases.  This is good for me and good for you as well as the marketplace and the Frick family who would also benefit from repeat customers other than the locals who frequently visit.  We need to influence other shoppers who come from longer distances to drive back and see us again.  The best way to do that is through the use of the coupon.  I feel like this is a good way to drive in more business for all of us.  If you agree and are interested my contact information is below.  PLEASE TEXT OR CALL DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS.  Remember, I am also a vendor so I am as busy as you are during the weekends.  So Please call or text Mon. - Friday 9am to 5pm.    Thank you for reading this and thank you for considering it.
